Happy New Year from Coverack!
Coverack, January 2021.
As we have just entered Tier 3 and more restrictions from the Government, we ask everyone to be considerate and understanding to others as we try to keep everyone as safe as possible.
Please consider doing a 2 minute beach clean whenever you visit the beach – if everyone did this we would have a lot less litter in the sea. In the current climate please make sure you take particular care: wear gloves, safely dispose of the rubbish and wash your hands after.
In line with Government guidelines the majority of Coverack businesses will be closed until further notice.

Although our ability to raise money has been hindered, the things that are desperately needed at school remain. Going forward into the rest of the academic year, we still need to fund these elements that make a huge difference to the children’s social and learning development. This is all the more heightened after many children were isolated at home during lockdown.
We understand that it is an incredibly difficult financial time for many at the moment but we hope if you feel fondly for Coverack School or may have visited one of our events to buy a cake, cup of tea or the like that you may be able to donate to help us keep supporting the school, teachers and pupils. Thank you for taking the time to read this, if you have any other questions, please contact us at email@example.com
Lambeage Hall: Lambeage Hall
Funding: We were very fortunate to be awarded a government grant to enable us to pay our bills. Just as well as we lost all our events and lettings incomes. It made us realise the need to diversify. So we are now launching………………Lambeage Lottery
Together with other small charities we have joined Onelottery. Each week one of our supporters will win a cash prize and may win up to £25,000. Tickets are only £1 each. If you fancy a flutter that will benefit our village hall, please buy a ticket or two. You can buy as a one off or regularly by direct debit. Via: www.onelottery.co.uk and search for Lambeage Hall. 50% of all our ticket sales go to our village hall – more than any other lottery.
Tickets also available via our website www.lambeagehall.org.uk Thank you to everyone who has bought a ticket so far.
NHS Fund Raising the Blue Heart campaign to help raise money for the NHS charities. After much trial and error, Angie Richards and Jan Carthew, both living in Coverack, came up with a crochet heart brooch design. It represents the constant support the NHS provides. If you would like to purchase one they are currently available from Brenda’s in Coverack, St Keverne Village Stores or Spar in Mullion, for a minimum donation of £1. If there are any crafters with an idle hook that would like to join in making them then just contact either Angie: 07789 237500 or Jan: 07769290979 to find out more.
