We usually love to share photos of the village on our Facebook page, however during lockdown this is less feasible. We’ve decided to take this opportunity to share historical photos of Coverack! Here are a few we’ve shared so far, plus one extra just for the website!
Coverack pre-1900 as the Lifeboat House has not been built. It’s likely that they are collecting seaweed in the cart to use as fertiliser.Picking early potatoes in one of the fields that is now where the Bay Hotel is. We think this was probably during or just after World War I.
