CS2000 Monthly update! Watch this CS2000 Space!
We’ve had a busy time recently here at CS2000 getting ready for the year ahead. The ‘What’s On!’ guide has gone to print and Dan has done an excellent job, once again, coordinating all the adverts and diary dates for the rest of the season. It’s a really handy booklet that’s funded by local business adverts and some sales in The Old Mill Shop and Coverack Village Stores. Thank you to all who have supported it.
The Easter Holidays went by in a blur, started off by the ever-popular Night of Twinkling Lights. Always a beautiful and poignant evening. The Craft Workshop was a great afternoon on an otherwise dreary day. It always amazes me how talented and creative the children are! We held two new events this holiday with the first being the Bake Off at the Bay Hotel. Huge thank you to all who entered and supported this event. The second event was a nearly new sale in St Peter’s Hall. There were so many donations it was unbelievable. And such a variety. I really do think there was something for everyone’s style and tastes there. Unfortunately, we had to cancel the egg roll, the weather didn’t play ball on the day and it was just too wet and windy. Thank you to all the volunteer helpers, if anyone would like to volunteer for any of the upcoming events, please let me know. We have a great core of volunteers but there is always room for more.
CS2000 was set up to raise funds for additional space at Coverack School, and has continued to organise events in the village, promote Coverack and support our small village School. It also maintains the Coverack Village Cornwall website, Coverack Village Facebook and Instagram pages and provides a monthly update of What’s On in Coverack.
The pictures show a snapshot of the activities and events we ran over the Easter holidays.
