A huge thank you from Coverack and 2020 dates.

Coverack Space 2000 has recently been the fortunate benefactor of some very generous donations. We’d like to send out a huge and heartfelt thank you to anyone who has made a donation to Coverack Space 2000, and recently we received a flurry of donations!

These were prompted by a gentleman who loves Coverack dearly and has spent much time in our village from childhood. As he approached a big birthday and arranged a gathering of friends for a weekend in Coverack, they were asked to consider donating to CS2000 rather than giving presents. The result has been an impressive income via the Coverack website coming through to CS2000’s Paypal account, which is very heartening, particularly at this time of year when any income is usually at a minimum. All those who donated were thanked and given a current list of projects that we are working on.
All donations are appreciated and help us to continue to support our rural community in so many different ways, Thank you!

Thank you email
Thank you for your donation to Coverack Space 2000 community group.
Your generous donation is greatly appreciated and will be used to help us to continue to run a range of events and activities in Coverack throughout the year.
Some of our recent events are: the coordinating of the rota of volunteers to help at Coverack School and planning an active programme of events for 2020 in Coverack including: Pirate & Mermaid week, a Tide Challenge, Sandcastle Competition and lots more! We have organised an ‘Emergency First Aid in the Work Place’ course planned for next month. I have just attended a meeting organised by the National Trust for all groups who organise Beach Cleans on the Lizard Peninsula.(CS2000 Beach Cleans started in 2007!)
Alongside these events and many more, CS2000 run the Coverack website and Coverack Village Facebook and Instagram pages with the aim of letting people know what is going on in Coverack.
CS2000 has just donated £100 to Coverack Primary School so that they can buy new fiction books.
It is with help from the Coverack businesses, the local community and further afield that we have continued to work as a community group in Coverack for more than 20 years now!
Thank you so much for your support,
Kind regards,
