We’ve had such a busy festive period in Coverack! Our Christmas Lights are still twinkling after our Christmas Tree Night and the Coverack Christmas Tree Committee kindly asked that we (CS2000) give donations we would have made to them to our local primary school instead. Despite having to be rearranged due to weather, our Festive Night of Twinkling Lights was a great success and we were able to raise enough to donate £100 to Coverack Primary School to buy new books. We hope the children enjoy reading them in the new year. Thank you to everyone who supported the event, here are some photos of the twinkling lights:
All the bags and lights were collected up at the end of the event to make sure our beach stays litter-free.
We had a warm Christmas day in Coverack… though not for the many brave people participating in the Coverack Christmas Swim in aid of Cancer Research UK!
Our Facebook page has reached almost to 2600 followers and 2500 likes and we were able to live stream the Christmas Swim on our page:
Well done to all who took part.
