We have been very lucky with the weather in Coverack this February Half Term.
Events in Coverack have included a Hedgehog’s Tea Party organised by Monday Club and raising funds for Coverack Hedgehog Rescue. The regular fortnightly Lunch Club welcomed guests who would otherwise be eating on their own and there is a team of helpers who do all the jobs from transporting, cooking, serving, hosting and clearing up afterwards. The Coverack Village Pisky Trail is proving popular as people follow the Pisky clues and find the tiny hiding piskies. There was a Spring Clean and Scavenger Hunt held during Half Term and although not many people took part, those who did made a really big difference and Coverack is looking beautiful.
Fund raising for the Fishermen’s Rest restoration is continuing there will be a Quiz Night in St Peter’s Hall on 2nd March please see poster this poster about another fund raising opportunity.
Those businesses that are open in Coverack include: The Lifeboat House, The Paris, Coverack Village Stores and Harbour Lights Cafe. We’ll work on trying to keep the weather this lovely for every school holiday and we hope that everyone is having a good 2019. There is now a list of key events happening in Coverack for the rest of 2019, we hope that you can visit soon.
