CS2000 Monthly update!
April 2024
Watch this CS2000 Space!
Easter feels like an age ago! We had a really busy easter break which was launched with the return of the Easter fun run. It had a new look this year. Started from the Bay Hotel with a choice of two routes. It was a popular event raising money for both CS2000 and the RNLI. Huge thank you to all the volunteers, runners and the Bay Hotel for allowing us to use the conservatory as an HQ.
The next event on the list was the Easter Egg Roll comp. This is now becoming a regular easter event and apopular alternative to a sandcastle compertition. The idea is to build a structure to roll an egg down. The longest egg roll, in distance, wins!
Unfortunately the weather stopped the twinkling lights that week, it was just too wet and windy.
Another new event to the schedule was the Hobby Horse Grand National. Local Businesses sponsored the event by sponsoring a hobby horse with many decorating them themselves.
Big thank you to- Porthgwara, The Bay Hotel, Brendas, The Old Mill Shop, Coverack Village Stores, The Old Lifeboat House, The Paris Hotel, Polcoverack Retirement Livery and Telstar Taxi’s for your support.
It was a great event, the turnout of both horses and riders was above expectations with the overall winner being Poppy riding ‘Old Milly the Filly’. I can feel a pop up autumn gymkhana coming on….. Definitely watch this space!

Update from the Lambeague Hall Committee- The work is going well but we had hoped to keep some of the facilities open. Unfortunately because of the weather the site is fully closed for the time being. We are sorry for any inconvenience but the end result will be well and truly worth it. Thank you for your patience.
