Queens Jubilee



Whether residents or holidaymakers, we hope you will take part in the Jubilee themed competitions planned for the celebrations, so get planning and stock up for:-

  • Decorate your house, boat or holiday let, entry form available now in Coverack stores for submission by the end of May, stock up on flags, bunting, flowers etc.
  • Sandcastle and sculpture competition 1.00 Thursday 2nd, on the beach, children and family groups for both classes, bring your JCB (only joking)
  • Pudding and cake competition to be judged Friday 3rd from 10.00 in St Peter’s Hall.
  • Pageant competition, in classes of ages, families, groups, dressed as royalty through the ages, to be judged 1.00 Saturday 4th on the Bay Hotel lawns. Followed by a parade through the village to prize giving at the harbour. A picnic party and music follow. So get sewing!
