Coverack, December 2021.
We would like to thank all those people who are continuing to keep our little village and its occupants as safe as possible. Please support the small independent businesses in Coverack and follow any safety guidelines that they have in place, including the latest guidelines on facial coverings. Please contact individual businesses about their opening times. Thank you to everyone who has supported Coverack Space 2000’s summer events, and to all those who have volunteered for us. Without your support, we wouldn’t be able to run these popular community events or offer financial support for additional activities at Coverack School.

St. Peter’s Church Roof Fund
Thank you to all who have supported the Church Roof Fund so far, we have raised 2 thirds of the money already. Harry’s Concert (see ‘Events’ part of this newsletter) will be to officially launch the Roof Fund, raising money for one last push. We have one Grant of £1,000 from the church repair fund and hope to re-apply to the National Churches Trust in the new year. The part of the roof that needs to be replaced are the failing copper nails, plus a new membrane to replace the old felt. We have costed for replacing 10% of tiles in the process. (Joan Kearsley). Contact Joan 280337 for further information.
