Coverack September Update

Coverack, September 2021.

We would like to thank all of those people who are continuing to keep our little village and its occupants as safe as possible. Coverack businesses are open and welcoming people back. Please support the small independent businesses in Coverack and follow any safety guidelines that they have in place. Please contact individual businesses about their opening times. Thank you to everyone who has supported Coverack Sapce 2000’s summer events, and to all those who have volunteered for us. Without your support, we wouldn’t be able to run these popular community events or offer financial support for additional activities at Coverack School.

St. Peter’s Church Roof Fund

Funds are building to nearly 50% of the quoted figure thanks to generous donations from church members.  We are hopeful of officially launching the project with a concert (covid permitting) and hope to qualify for a grant to enable the work to be done before the winter.

Coverack Space 2000 Community Group:  This group was set up to raise funds for additional space at Coverack School, and has continued to organise events in the village, promote Coverack and support the School. It also maintains the Coverack Village Cornwall website, Coverack Village Facebook and Instagram pages and provides a monthly update of What’s On in Coverack. CS2000 actively supported the recent campaign to keep all of Coverack School open and will support funding for wrap-around care for Coverack School children.
The What’s On in Coverack 2021 booklet is in circulation, and is delivered to every household in Coverack. Please consider making a donation to CS2000 if you appreciate receiving this booklet, either through a collection pot in The Old Mill Shop or through the Pay Pal button on our website: Coverack Village Cornwall. What’s On booklets can also be bought from Coverack Village Stores.
The sale of second hand books from the box outside Coverack Village Stores helps raise funds for CS2000 – thank you so much to everyone who has supported.
