Coverack School Update:

The Southerly Point MAT has decided to allow the whole of Coverack School to remain open for at least another two years. This consultation process has highlighted what an amazingly supportive community we live in and that together our voice can be heard and we thank the Trust for listening. This is the start of a really exciting time for Coverack School and its pupils – we look forward to working together to introduce wrap around provision and enhance the children’s learning through enrichment activities, clubs and a reconnection with the wider community and the many talents it contains. We will be forming a community group to work closely with the Trust and the PTFA to develop the school’s long term future and welcome any interest. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported our action group, to our MP Derek Thomas and to St Keverne & Coverack Parish Council. Coverack School has been our cornerstone since 1876; let’s keep working together to keep it that way.
