Blue heart crochet brooches to support the NHS – made in Coverack!

Please see the below message from Coverack residents getting creative to support the NHS!

I am sure you have all seen the Blue Heart campaign to help raise money for the NHS charities.

After much trial and error, Angie Richards and Jan Carthew, both living in Coverack, came up with a crochet heart brooch design.  It represents the constant support the NHS provides.

If you would like to purchase one they are currently available from Londis in St Keverne or Spar in Mullion.

They will also be outside Thornhill/Little Sea View, North Corner weather permitting!

They are asking for a minimum donation of £1

This project is in it’s infancy and they would love for it to gather some momentum so if there are any crafters with an idle hook that would like to join in making them then just contact either Angie: 07789 237500 or Jan: 07769290979 to find out more.

Alternatively any other ideas for outlets to sell them would be gratefully received. In fact any positive input would be fantastic.

Let’s see if we can get Coverack on the map again and raise some precious funds.
