Rock Pool Safari!

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Coverack Beach this afternoon for our Rock Pool Safari. An amazing range of finds in just an hour!

A huge thank you to Peter and Dan for sharing their knowledge. Each year it is surprising what we find and things do vary, this year we had a lot of starfish but no jellyfish. There was a small sea urchin, a cuttle fish (found dead) and a yet to be identified creature. The crabs once again were feisty and needed supervising! Among all these amazing finds there were a lot of small bits of plastic. Yesterday there was a Cornish Seal Sanctuary Beach Clean and tomorrow, being the first Tuesday of the month, is Coverack’s Beach Clean Day. Please help us keep Coverack Beach as clean as we can! Please take any rubbish you find off the beach – thank you!

Events are funded through the support of volunteers, local businesses and your kind donations. If you would like to make a donation to Coverack Space 2000 you can do so here
