A small herd of Shetland ponies are back on Chynhalls Point. These are National Trust ponies and their grazing helps to keep bracken and brambles under control and therefore improve the habitat for wildflowers. For many years now CS2000 has organised a group of volunteers to help watch over these little ponies. If you are visiting Coverack, please don’t feed the ponies, as this causes them health issues, please keep your dog on a lead on the point and make sure that the gate is shut. Thank you.
