One of Coverack’s many community events is our firework night celebrations – there is an amazing community in Coverack that pull together each year and make this event a success so that many children (and adults) can enjoy fireworks over the harbour from a safe view point.
This year, firework night celebrations will take place on Monday 5th November, with a BBQ, raffle, glowsticks and refreshments on the Bay Hotel Lawn from 18:15 and a firework display on the harbour from 19:00 (due to a high tide at 16:00, there will be no bonfire on the beach this year).
The support of the community is crucial to the success of this event, particularly as this an expensive event to run. Please consider supporting us by:
- Parking considerately, please consider car-sharing and park with friends or in the car parks. There will be a team of parking marshals to assist. Please park responsibly and remember that emergency vehicles need access through the village, at all times!
- Buying something from the marquee on the Bay Hotel Lawn. There is a BBQ, cakes, soup, hot drinks, glow sticks and a raffle.
- Donating money to help us cover the costs of the fireworks and insurance (and run more events), by putting money in the collection buckets or donating online

Donations to support Coverack Space 2000 are greatly appreciated
Please note: We have not given permission for any external traders to trade at this event. This way, any funds raised go straight back to cover firework and insurance costs. Due to our insurance restrictions, sparklers are not permitted at the event.
We really appreciate all the support we get from the community, we would not be able to run this event without it!
Thank you very much.
